what should i do to make sure my laptop lasts longer while at home?

should i always keep the charger connected?

or should i remove the charger after the battery is fully charged and when the battery is low set it to charge?

    You must use your laptop frequently.

    You must fully charge the battery before use.

    After charge complete, plug the power OUT.

    You must use your laptop on Battery (not using AC power) until the low battery message comes.

    If you don't want to use it for long time u must plug it OUT and take the battery out.

    These tips will give your battery a long lifetime.

    If you always plug your laptop in & not use the battery or charge it & not use until it discharges, your Battery will be ruined soon.

    So after complete charges it will discharge very Soon & finally you won't have a laptop, you will have a pc with some time given to you to plug it to the adapter.

    It does not matter. The worst enemy of the Li-ion battery is heat, so if you're not using your laptop and you leave the charger plugged in, nothing wrong will happen as the charger circuits will prevent overcharging, thus also prevent overheating.
