Tron Vs Avatar?? Share 'which' and 'why' :)?

Tron was all over the place... but the gimicks didn't do the original cult classic, groundbreaking film any favors. It was interesting to watch, but the story was a mess. Avatar however succeeded in both... state of the art, never before seen effects and good story.

I really liked how Avatar took a smart take on the topic of colonialism. Like, 'What if it happened in space, instead of say, on Earth, where invasions normally happen? What if the culture being colonized was perfectly happy and peaceful, unlike in other movies about colonization, where the dumb natives deserve to be colonized? What if instead of showing typical evil colonists, the evil colonists were US (us as in us, and as in the United States. You can thank Avatar for making me clever enough to make that pun)?' Thank you, Avatar, for thinking of all of these amazing questions and then answering them for me.
