Can you read between the lines?
Christians assert that you need to be saved in order to enter Heaven and avoid Hell. So if you're not saved.... can anyone finish that sentence for me?
What I'm getting at is that Christians make the claim that they never tell anyone they are going to Hell, but the painfully obvious conclusion to their most basic religious belief is about as apparent as a slap in the face.
Ya feel me?
Anthony H- Why should a non-believer be concerned? Because there are different types of non-believers. Strong atheists assert that God does NOT exist. Agnostics admit that they don't know anything about God or if he exists at all. I'm agnostic and willing to listen to people's beliefs instead of ignoring everything that I wasn't taught from a young age or that happened in a crisis situation.
Guy Fawkes- You WILL FEEL ME! I DEMAND IT!!
Ruth- You seem to have missed the point and gotten defensive. I said that the OBVIOUSNESS of the salvation = heaven, no salvation = hell equation hits you like a slap in the face. Imagine being slapped in the face. You can't deny being slapped in the face when you've been slapped in the face. And that's what I said the first time. Next time don't be such a disrespectful person when you respond, because nobody likes bad people.
Naas- wtf are you trying to say?
CJ Johnson- Glad to see that someone is feeling me. I'm also agnostic and former born again c

It is not normal for a fundamentalist Christian's emotions to line up with what they are actually saying. Because they genuinely believe that what they have been taught to say is of God, they are perfectly comfortable with thinking, "I'll let them know and damn the consequences, because I know it is the righteous thing to say."
Almost never, in my experience, do Christians who preach about the dangers of Hell stop to wonder if they're doing damage to the listener's psyche. Why should they? They're just doing what the Bible says to do and what they are taught by Pastor Bob to say to unbelievers.
What these people do not consider, is all the mentally ill people in hospitals who now, because of what they were told by Christians, are in the belief that they are going to burn in Hell and there is nothing that they can do about it.
Sure, a Christian will argue that they could be saved by believing the gospel, but there is a problem with this thinking: they obviously already do, but because of brain abnormalities, they are simply unable to not 'sin' over and over again and so cannot abide by the other requirements laid forth by the Bible for salvation.

A slap in the face when a Christian tells you, between the lines, that you are going to hell?
Just what kind of atheist are you? A wimp that can't stand to be told your going to hell when you don't even believe in hell?
Sad, just sad.

Sure, i can finish it:
it will be between you and God and He will judge you fairly and righteously according to your deeds in the flesh body.
If a non believer does not believe in God, why do they worry about the hell He told them about? that has never made real sense to me.

Actually, I have heard Christians say point blank, on this forum, "you're going to hell"
And no, I will not feel you.

why would you consider it a slap in your face, UNLESS you yourself doubt your own disbelief???
