am i singing too much?

i made school chamber singers and i cant stop singing high and low. well now my voice feels tired and folded up, should i stop singing?

    Yes, you are singing too much, and you should stop singing when your voice feels tire. You will want to keep in mind that it is not necessary for you to sing full-voice in a choral group during rehearsals; so, take it easy and sing in half-voice.

    Maybe you should rest your voice a bit. Drink some tea and for 2 days don't sing. I know that not singing wont make you feel better (i can't stand not singing either....) but if you don't want to damage your voice and your voice could close (like the singer's after some rough concert). You don't want that. But if you don't sing for those days you will feel a lot better when you finally sing! Hope i helped! Take care of your singing voice, good luck!

    Nah, just exercise your vocal cords.

    I recommend looking at the DVD the Zen of Screaming, its not just for metal but teaches you all these techniques for exercise.

    We need more singers, don't give up :)
