Could someone please let me know how to look up a CA Exempt License Plate?

I tried one of those private online search things. I even paid for it, but it didn't give me the right information. Thank you for your help!

you cannot look up a license plate unless you are in law enforcement the dmv no longer provides that information after a stalker tracked down a woman through a private investigator and shot her on her doorstep.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net/ that has been around since 1995.

CA Exempt plates are either government or businesses with fleets. If its a fleet you can see the company name on the side. Otherwise its government you wont get any useful info other then perhaps which branch holds the registration.

The only people that has access to this information is the DMV and the police department. The DMV will not give out this information.

If you have a valid reason to know this information, contact your police department, sing the non-emergency phone number.
