I bought these jeans at a thriftstore because I liked the fit, but they have these horrible patch things on them. Im not sure what they are called, but theyre stiched on pretty good. Is there a way to get them off? If not, could I buy fabric die to at least change the color? Any other suggestions?

  • Without a doubt, Ive been sexually harrassed at work. Who would be responsible?

I have plenty of proof with emails and photoshop pics of me naked. I turned them over to yhe G.M. who didnt do anything. I work for a smaller company that subcontracts for a much larger company that the harrasser works for. I am housed in the larger companys facility, with the harrasser. When I finally had enough, I told the harrasser to stop or I would take action. He went nuts and quit. The owner convinced him to come back. but the harrasser had the condition of coming back only if I left. I made him uncomfortable. I was transfered immediately. I forwarded some emails to my boss, who forwarded them to the bigger business owner. They both agree that the harrasser is sick, but thats all. I know he is a more valued employee then me, but this cant be legal can it?

  • I dont know how to leave?

Im not even married to him. We've been divorced for 4 years, but got back together 3 years ago. We have 2 kids. I'm solely dependent on him. He works, and I stay home with the kids. Now he's threatening to throw me out, get a good attorney, and get custody of the kids. He really acts like he hates me. He took my cell phone and says he'll call the police if I try to leave the state with the kids to go live with my family. He's even gone as far as to put drugs in my coffee so he could turn me in as an unfit mother. I can't stand how much control he has over me. Never thought I would be in this situation. I really trusted him (my bad). What am I supposed to do? Can he really have me arrested for taking my kids out of state?

  • Do you think neglect and being a bad example is cause for?

calling CPS? My daughters best friends (7 yrs old) mom is a horrible Mother. I'm pretty sure she's on drugs, she always has lots of guys over (they live in a 1 bedroom trailer), she sends her daughter to school without breakfast or lunch, and she drops her off at my house every chance she gets and then just leaves her here without calling or checking up on her. Most of the time her phone is shut off and we can't get a hold of her. Also, they've been without gas for about 2 months. The little girl really seems to not like being around her mom much, and begs to stay "just one more day!" I'm not a big fan of CPS, and I don't want to get involved with this if I don't have to. She doesn't know who her Dad is, and the only other family member she has is her Grandmother, but I don't think she will step up and take responsibility. I have her over at least half the week, but it's starting to put a strain on our budget. I love this little girl, and I would appreciate any advice with this

  • My friends daughter did something I can't just forget about...?

My friend lives right down the street from us. He has 4 kids. One of his daughters is 7 and used to come over and play with my 7 year old daughter. That is, until I caught her pinching my 1 year old daughter. I think she's been doing this for awhile, cause my baby would cry a lot around her. I talked to my friend about it, and although he apologized (so did his daughter), he kind of blew it off and said "kids just do weird things like this". Now she still always wants to come over and play, like nothing ever happened. I always say no, I don't think it's fair to my baby. I'm really angry with this little girl, and I feel alittle mad at my friend for not doing anything to punish her, and still expecting her to be able to come over and play. Am I making a big deal out of this? How do I keep my friendship with all of this anger towards his little girl? Also, my daughter is friends with 2 of his other kids, should I allow them to still come over and not include the pinching brat?

  • What am I supposed to do about.....?

my 1 year old being such a light sleeper? Her and and my 7 year old have bedrooms right next to eachother and share a wall. It's really hard to keep a 7 year old quiet for an hour during nap time. I feel it's not fair to my oldest to keep telling her to be quiet and telling her (and friends) that they have to play outside until the baby wakes up. This baby wakes up at the slightest noise. I've tried playing lullabys to drown out noise, but she doesnt sleep well with that either. What should I do? There's no other quiet spots in the house. Do I have to sound proof the room? How would I do that? HELP!!!

  • It's going to be my daughters first b-day sun.,...?

does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should serve a group of 10-15? I'm thinking maybe deli meat cheese tray, or BBQ. I would like it to be self-serve style. Just having all the food on the table and people picking at it at their own leisure kind of thing. I'm a decent cook, but I don't want to be in the kitchen all day long. SO please...HELP!

  • Yesterday I got an e-mail from someone ...?

with a link to "yahoo Truth" (i think that's what it was called). It looked like a really cool interactive way to "chat" and play games. You get to create a person, kinda like an avatar, and you interact with other members, kind of like a simms game. Anyways, I accidently deleted it, and I can't find anything like that on yahoos search. Does anyone know what this is and how to access it?

  • This is serious....please reply seriously?

About a year ago, my little girl (5 at the time) told me that my 14 year old little brother tried to do some inappropriate things with her. She said that he had his zipper down and something was sticking out. He said "It's just my finger, just lick it." She left the room right away, but didn't tell me about the incident until the next time she saw him(after he left}. He lives in Panama and only comes to the states a few times a year. I have purposely avoided him, but I have talked to him on the phone and told him that I knew what he had done. Well, my daughter seems to be ok, I took her to a counsler just in case. What I need to know is should I tell my Dad? It would break his heart, he loves his granddaughter and son very much. He's been pushing me to talk and see my brother , and I have run out of excuses. This has really caused my immediate family to be distant from the rest of the family, and I miss them alot. I just don't know what to do. Please give any advise you can. Thanks.

  • Can you use canned peaches instead of fresh for a pie?

If so, do I need to prepare the peaches like they're fresh? And do I need to adjust cooking time? I'd appreciate any input on this!

I'm sure it won't be as good, but that's OK.
