What are some good Bach piano pieces that I can start with?

My piano teacher thinks the next piece I should work on should be by Bach. I've never played Bach before, so what are some good pieces by him that I can start out with?

There are some very good, famous and beautiful menuets by Bach that are not too complicated.

This is from Anna Magdalenas book.

P.S. In this video the piece might seem to be harder than it really is, because the pianist uses trills.

How skilled are you? Here are some pieces, in increasing level of difficulty.

Everyone knows this one. Minuet in G. You don't have to be very skilled technically to play this.

Invention No. 8. It's almost a canon, because the right and left hands are very similar. It's not too difficult, but some spots are tricky to get even.

Try some Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue. I really like how this guy plays it.

Prelude and Fugue 14 in f# minor from the second Well-Tempered Clavier. I love this prelude. Extremely gorgeous. The fugue is really difficult... for me, anyway.

Italian Concerto. I have two friends that have won competitions with this piece. It gets stuck in my head really easily. My favorite of everything I've given you.

    Good luck.

Bach's two and three part inventions.

It depends on your standard, but the two and three part inventions are a good place to start.

The Inventions are a really good choice.

Start with No. 1, because in my opinion, it is the easiest.

prelude in C major, which definitely gives you more satisfaction.
