Hi there,
You wanna become a java app developer.
I would like to put on a point how do you think you can show off in viral app world.??
I am mentioning that don't think of a job before you know the basics.
I feel you should learn complete java, then think of options.
As for the fresher a programming language with database basics and scripting language helps.
C# is similar to java when you learn, but that doesn't develop java application with C#.
I would suggest go with Java, the widespread and most explored.
And I do not understand your question of being profitable, expecting it to be useful both have their own pros and cons.

You definitely need to learn to program on a PC before you even think about Android development. There are a lot of core programming concepts you need to learn, programming takes a lot of time and effort.
As far as Java and C#, the syntax and constructs are almost identical. I far prefer C# for Windows development, GUI design is far easier, and I use Java for internet applets. One big advantage to Java is that you can get an integrated development environment(IDE), NetBeans, absolutely free. To do C# development, you really need Visual Studio from Microsoft. And no, you can't write Java apps in C#, you create C# apps in C#, and Java apps in Java.
Javascript was completely misnamed, it has absolutely nothing to do with Java.
To be honest, It doesn't really matter what language you use, as long as it teaches you to understand object oriented programming. Once you learn programming in general, you can pick up a different language very easily.
Pick one and stick to it.
