Most Iraqis were killed by other Iraqis than coalition forces.
"agreed to the iraq war not only to save themselves from those mysterious weapons of mass destruction saddam was hiding(which are still no were to be found)"
Actually WMDs is found, didn't you dig in the newspaper. Even wikileaks confirms it as well. Something that the foreign media largely ignored. I give you a little history what the Iraq war took place, little kid.
It all started in August 1990, when Saddam Hussein's Army invaded Kuwait in order to steal their rich oil fields in order to pay off the debts of Iraq-Iran War. In response, the UN put sanctions against Iraq. The UN passed resolutions demands that if Saddam does not leave within five months, he will face a coalition military action. Saddam said no and military force was used in January 1991. The US and it's allies successfully kicked out Saddam out of Kuwait and Saddam was praying to stay on power.
So in April 1991, Saddam and UN forces signed a ceasefire(not a peace) treaty. As part of that ceasefire treaty, the UN passed 22 resolutions WHICH AUTHORIZED CONTINUED MILITARY ACTION if Saddam failed to comply. Saddam broke 19 out of the 22 resolutions, shooting down NATO warplanes in no-fly-zones, as well as kicking out UN Inspectors trying to document his WMDs. Those are the one of the main violations of the UN resolutions. But the UN and Clinton administration did not do anything about it until 9/11 happened. Many Intel around the world was saying that Saddam was building new WMDs.
So the UN passed a UN Resolution 1441, demanding that if Iraq doesn't comply for the final time, he will face a military action. UN send their inspectors back only to be thrown out later. As a response, George Bush Jr and Tony Blair gave Saddam an final chance. Comply with the UN resolutions as well as terms of ceasefire agreements, or he was going bye-bye. Saddam didn't. Then many of US-led-coalitions forces starting reauthorized the continuation of the 1st Gulf War and it was commenced in March 20, 2003. The War in Iraq had began. After a few months of fighting Iraqi Republican Army, they finally toppled Saddam Hussein's Government and ended it. However new WMDs were not found when the US-led-coalitions forces got into Iraq. If you read his trial transcripts, Saddam actually bluffed the news WMDs for a decade because he doesn't want to lose face with Iran.
So George Bush admitted to the public that the suspected amounts were not found, BUT this does not mean that none were found. In the town of Sargat a site where chemical weapons were stored was raided by U.S. and Kurdish forces. Though it was the only site found you would have to be a moron to still have chemical weapons after the months of broadcasting discussing the invasion. A moron never ends up running a country, a fact few people would be willing to believe. Also 500 chemical Munitions were found and yes they do contain WMDs. But the Media chose not to report because it doesn't fit into their agendas because they always about money.

Did something goes wrong in the Iraq invasion? Maybe but Saddam shot themselves in the foot by claiming he had WMDs.

How come the Iraqi vital statistics only conted 68,000 dead from 2003 to 2009? (That's the total number dead including by natural causes in 6 years).
Where are the other 832,000 bodies, do you suppose?
