Flyers the team to beat in the upcoming season?

With all their changes and additions, (i think they were mostly all good, except maybe the carter deal), will they be the powerhouse to beat next season?

Team to beat? Maybe not, but definately the team to watch. They got rid of two big players yes, but they still have the 3 guys that basically carried the team in the playoffs in giroux JVR and briere. JVR is going to have a huge year this year... Unfortunately that means he will want a lot of money when his contract is up. If you think about it, what were the flyers missing to go further in the playoffs? A goalie. And they got that goalie. Richards and Carter didnt help much at all in the playoffs, so basically the team that they had doing anything in the playoffs is still here. And they fixed the biggest issue while getting young talented players. I think the flyers still make the playoffs this year and have a good post season push, if schenn is as good as he is supposed to be they have a chance of going all the way. But hey all the flyers haters can keep hating, i believe in my team and i always will

I think the Flyers will be worse than they were this past season. Maybe the Carter trade, they won but I'm still not convinced. The Richards trade was too risky, can't believe how much they overpaid Jagr, Talbot wasn't much except for the 2 amazing clutch playoff years he had and he's dropped off now. They let Leino go, Powe's gone, I personally think they tore the team apart. Who knows maybe they'll even get past the 2nd round next year with that team, but I doubt it. If they win the cup, then you can rub it in my face but imo they're not gonna get close.

Source(s): It's just my opinion, they're still a good team just I think they lost some key players, that's all.

I disagreed with all the trades they made EXCEPT for the Carter deal.

Carter is good for 30 goals in a season but in the post-season he will disappear. All he does is shoot the puck high and wide.

To get a first round for him and Jakub Voracek I thought we robbed em'.

And no the Flyers will suck next year.

Hell yeah ! i'm in my opinion an Arsenal FC fan and that i think of that Barcelona could be overwhelmed very truthfully.prevailing couple of video games or stastics would not tutor a communities's expertise.constructive Barcelona has many stars yet so do the different communities.

    You gotta be kidding.

They made the team worse when they had a chance to make themselves so much better.
