Is it not a dangerous presidence for obama to compare his kids to Congress?

Question

Should not children be exempt from use for monetary, celebrity or political gain, even if the children are those of the parent(s) seeking to capitalize by it? 

1.  He's opening his children up to the eye of the public which, in my opinion, should be off limits.   Period.
2.  By doing so and comparing their homework to that of the work of Congress the big question is how is his children doing in school and what?   This means that there'll be reporters, teachers pro and con who will leak their grades and conduct.
3.  If his children are C and D students and/or their conduct is rather bad, obama has made a major mistake  and it will come back to haunt him.

If his kids are D students and he's prodding Congress to be like his kids, he's made a major mistake, in my opinion.   How can a man use his children as a political tool?

Did you know that they're his own kids?

He can say what he wants about his own kids. Besides, he was giving an example by bringing up his kids. He didn't make the subject all about his kids.

Also, I don't think it's likely that a D student does their homework the 1 night before.

Apparently the Obama kids are off limits except when the Obamas choose to exploit them for political gain.

a good sort of the people at his city halls are invited with the help of professional Obama communities, Bush did the same element. all of them do. They do also hand out tickets first come first serve yet over 1/2 are given to professional-Obama communities. also, maximum folk have extra appreciate for the President (any President) than a congressman.

Your reading to much into it.  Basically hes trying to tell Congress to hurry up and what better way to get there attention than to talk about their slow work habits in front of all of America.  I'm not sure what his reasoning was for doing this but I'm sure it will get the message across. And I guarentee you no ones going to stalk his kids and try to find out their grades.

A D student has at least done something even if they fail at it.  Congress is just sitting there refusing to do anything.

Congress becoming at least D students would be a blessing.

It was a good analogy telling Congress that his kids were better at self-discipline than they are.  It got the message across.
