Why doesn't Nirvana tour anymore?

Guitarist and lead singer Kurt Cobain got too greedy and wanted all their money to himself, so he refused to play live with other band members because they would be getting paid. That's why Kurt has never toured with a band since 1994 and hasn't toured in support of the last 6 Nirvana albums which he recorded and released himself.

The frontman, Kurt Cobain, committed suicide (officially) on April 5th, 1994.

Kurt Cobain was the main driving force of his band. Without him the band felt like they could do nothing, and they felt it was best to call it quits.

However, Krist Novoselic (Nirvana's bassist) went on to form Sweet 75, No WTO Combo, and Eyes Adrift. He directed the movie L7, and quit the music business until he joined Flipper and Foo Fighters.

Dave Grohl (drummer) created the Foo Fighters, Probot, Late! and Them Crooked Vultures, and performed with Killing Joke, Buzz Osborne, Mike Watt, Tony Iommi, Tenacious D, Queens of the Stone Age, NIN, Garbage, Juilette and the Licks, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, The Prodigy, and Slash.

If anything I would check out the Foo Fighters if I were you.

A horrible tragedy indeed.

Lead guitar and vocalist died and the drummer formed the Foo Fighters!!! Dude I was born in 1998 an I freaking know that!!!

The singer has better things to do in the next world.

The drummer has better things to do with the Foos.
