2003 Saab 9-3 conv., cigarette lighter not working?
Just bought a 2003 Saab 9-3 conv. for my daughter. Though she is not a smoker, we went to use the cigarette ligher for an accessory, there is no power. I checked the wiring behind the housing, and the fuse. All look good, any other idea's why it is not getting power?

My honest guess is that you wont be able to figure it out if its not a fuse or something and you should probably just take it to a mechanic soon if you want it fixed.

Good advice from the Autozone guy. Modern cars have sensors all over the place. Unfortunately the sensors fail more frequently than anything else on the car. There is probably nothing wrong with your car except that you need to replace a burned out sensor. The Autozone guys will probably show you where it is and sell you a new one to replace yourself. Probably $50 vs $200 at the dealer

Where do you have power to? Test light? Volt meter? Nothing? Are you just guessing at this and expect the internet to know? I think so! Go check where you DO have power to. That'll be your answer.

Could be a connector wire or something farther into the wiring.
