what is the relationship between self efficacy and motivation?

Self efficacy- a person's belief in their own competence. Motivation- is the driving force by which humans achieve their goals. I can feel or know that I can achieve a particular goal effectively but to be motivated I must have the desire/passion/urge/push to do so. The relationship is what is & acting on "what is". It's the difference of knowing something & doing something with it vs. knowing something & NOT acting upon it.

Both are inter-related as the better motivated you are the higher your self-efficacy rate

Motivation causes one to practice what s/he needs to be efficacious of--math, electronics, language, parenting, etc.

Practice makes perfect---at least as perfect as standards allow for.

The more 'perfect' one is, the more 'efficacious' one is.
