intel core i5 2500k onboard graphics?

i know it has onboard graphics but if i add a video card the radeon 6950 will it override onboard video if not how can i do this my self my mobo is the asus sabertooth x58

    It will automatically disable the onboard video. Be aware that the ASUS Sabertooth x58 does not support the Core i5 2500K. You need a H67/P67 or Z68 motherboard to support the 2500K.

    The feature about the intel i5-2500k onboard graphic card is it is automatically disable once a plug in graphic card is install, also amd fusion family is out with a ati hd 6550 install within the processor on some models

    you can't add an lga1155 CPU to an LGA1366 x58 motherboard. you'll need an i7-950/960 processor.
