Does disiplinary action (write ups) start over after being promoted?
I was just promoted to assistant manager from cashier. I have a couple of write ups from when i first started. Do i get a clean slate since i was promoted, or do those write ups still have effect (ie: if i am written up again, it will be my 3rd write up).

I think it depends on where you're working. Some places may clear you of any write ups but, I believe most places they are kept on file. You should ask your superior just to be sure.
