Are these treats okay for my horses?

I have started giving my horses more variety of treats, but then I started wondering if they all were safe for them. The ones I know are safe are the crunchies, cookies, oats and all the tack store stuff. I also know carrots and apples wont hurt a horse either. But here are some things my horses enjoy that I don't know:

Sugar Cubes

Peppermints

Bananas (not often. Like once a month, if that)

Orange slice (just one)

Watermelon

Grape

raspberry

strawberry

Cucumber

Either or both of my horses love the treats listed above, but can some of them have a bad affect.

P.S.

Someone recently gave my gelding a whole can of coke (D=< ?!?!?!?!?!) And he effin LOVES it! like more then anything else. Is that going to hurt him at all????

Also, I will let him drink some of my apple juice if he tries. Is that safe or should I stop? I don't do it every day but will it hurt him?

Thanks!

Update:

I rotate the treats so its not sugar sugar sugar. They get sugar cubes (And I mean only one, maybe two if they are extra cute that day lol jk) once every two weeks or so and the peppermints once a month.

the treats you have listed are fine, just maybe not to often x

try sticking to carrots apples bread bananas NOT grapes as they are poisonous! maybe you could make a whole in a swede put a piece of rope through and hang it in your ponies stable for him to play with. Make sure you give him his treats cut into slices cause if they are in bits they can choke on them

sugar cubes are fine my horse loves them and i don't give them to him all the time like i do with carrots etc, but he does get his usual one before he goes to bed each night x <3 almost all vegetables are fine for horses x the treats from tack stores aren't great cause you load of money for some dried grass with flvouring...you would be much better giving him loads of carrots cause they will make him just as happy of even happyr !

my horse loves skittles crisps and cat food :l i have found this out by accident and he never EVER has them but that is just me x it depends how cautious u r about your horse x

Ditch the sugar cubes and peppermints - they're full of sugar and will rot his teeth if given regularly. Treats from the tack shop are not that brilliant either.

    Stick with:

    -Carrots

    -Parsnips

-Swede - you can feed whole or when you cut the outside off for cooking it, you can feed the outside to them.

    -Apples

My pony likes Pepsi Max and salt and vinegar crisps, but only gets offered either about once a year, if that.

If they've been having these treats for a while and are fine, then giving them once in a while should be fine (e.g. if you're at a show and forgot apples or whatever)

Best to google yourself a list of fruits and vegetables that can be toxic to horses.

They are our friends and they always want to eat what we're eating.

Horses love watermelon for instance, but if you feed them an entire watermelon, they can founder. It's all sugar. (And that story is directly from a vet who had to save one.)

I don't really think pop is going to hurt them (in small amounts). People have been doing it for years. But... if you give your horse a pop at a USEF rated horse-show and it gets drug tested. Guess what? We get to read your name in the suspensions in the back of the magazine the next month. Caffeine = illegal substance.

Have fun! Sounds like you've got a great relationship with your horses! :D

someone said grape are poisonious for horses so I looked it up & some say yes & others no, which is it? I have fed my horse grapes once in a while & he loves them I never seen any bad effect. mind you he only gets them once in a while & not a lot just whats in the fridge that haven't been eaten & are starting to get old.
