Windows 7 - Ctrl+C doesn't work?
Hey everyone, I booted up my laptop this morning and quickly realized that Ctrl+C isn't working. I first noticed it in excel, but it doesn't work on Firefox, Word, anything.
I can still copy from the right-click menu. Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z, and Ctrl+X are working fine on every program I've tried, it's just Ctrl+C. I should mention that I had no problems last night, and when I turned on my computer, I didn't notice any "Windows is Installing" screen or something, although I easily could have missed it since I was doing other things while waiting for the computer to boot up.
I'm technologically illiterate, so feel free to ask for more details if you need them.

I'm assuming your 'c' key is still functioning? If not, there is obviously some sort of error. Did you try rebooting?

Plug a mouse in. Much easier to do your selecting, copying and pasting with it. And faster.
Not heard of your particular issue before with Control C. Make sure something didn't get under your "C" key. Try typing with it and see if it works ok.
