Are they okay?? (20 characters)?
I've noticed for about a week or so that when I work my horses into a sweat (Happens easier now because of the heat) they will have runny white discharge. I know the clear snot like stuff is fine, but what does it mean if it's white snot like stuff? Are they okay?? Any help is great. And I can't go ask a vet because I'm either busy or they are closed. So if someone says its serious, I will make time to go to my vet.
Also, if it help any people, I could try and take a picture of what it looks like next time I ride.
Thanks!

Interesting that you should notice this.
When I was in jump racing the horses were not running as well as they should. They were regularly blood tested and nothing was showing up. They were working well, fit and no signs of any illness but were just being beaten.
I noticed that some when they had galloped, had this white from their noses, nothing much, just that it was white and not clear. Some it was just for a minute or two, as they walked home, others it was when they were back in their stable and others were clear.
The horses were fine until thy were under the stress of racing and then they were just not able to run to their full potential. Tests were done and nothing showed up but I never bet on any horse that I had seen with white, some did win but generally they were not 100% although rippling out of their skins at home and were not winners.
I am sure it was a low grade virus that only effected when under extreme stress like a race.
Just work them steadily and I am sure they will be fine. If it turns to actual snot then there is a more severe infection.

Not serious. Same happened to me. I took it to a vet, and they said it was snot.
