Which is more primitive : multiplicity or unity?

Consider this : The World and the Cosmos is in the continuous process of reorganization. So can we theorize that the beginning was a conglomeration of innumerable isolated point-existences that are since then being continually organized and configured into more sophisticated areas and volumes whose total count is dropping sharply?

Update:

VAXOCO : reasonable presumptions.

I'd rather say that since we know Cosmos is expanding, that it is within a Life cycle. Life within Cosmos gains complexity and expands. Complexity does not have a way backward. I think that bacteria can evolve into more complex form, but mankind cannot evolve into bacteria.

Perhaps the point themselves were gaining complexity and were competing against other points, rather than the primitive points organizing into complex unities. But, perhaps its a one same thing, depending how you look at it. Some processes are symbiotic, some are exclusive.

Whether there is more diversity and less count or less diversity and more count, depends on outer factors. Life just adapts in the best way possible.
