Well, if you didn't feel it in spite of the music, the damage must be minimal. You also were driving illegally but that may be hard to prove - like can you get someone to lie they were with you and were picking up something that fell on the floor? I think it may be tossed because it will be their word against yours. What kind of damage is there to your car? That's a factor too. If you weren't on probation you might get a fine and your insurance goes up. How much depends on the damage, if it's minor or major, and it can't be too major if you were only backing up. Other than that, it's up to your p.o. I think your being young and in school may work for you. Good luck.

    IF your story were true:

You should expect to be responsible for damages to the parked car,

Criminal liability for driving without a license,

Criminal liability for leaving the scene without identifying yourself,

    probably a probation violation,

    revocation of your permit,

and finally, increased insurance premiums if you start driving again anytime soon.

BUT since your Yahoo pulse says you are a 41 year old male living in Massachusetts, not an 18 year old

You should not expect many legal penalties,

just expect to be pegged as a troll on Y!A!

    Permit revoked.

Inability to get new permit for a minimum of a year.

Leaving the scene of an accident charges, from the police.

    Heavy fine.

    Likely dropped from your insurance.

ALL of those. Not just one or two. You're looking at the entire list happening.

You might not be able to get a driver's license for a while now... depends what you're on probation for... another driving offense? Sometimes, people need lawyers. And I think this is one of those times.

If nobody saw you then don't worry about it.

Buff out any scratches on the car you were driving, and don't drive it for a while, at least until you have your liscense.

Don't be a dick next time.
