Eastern/Australian water dragon, help!!!?
O.K. i'm getting an eastern water dragon and have a few questions
1) what Exo Terra cage is the best size for an eastern water dragon (male)
2) Where can i get a custom cage made (on the internet) that is elegant (and possibly cheep)

if you know the care they need, that should include how big a cage they need. just knowing what they eat is not enough at all.

check out the awesome cage on the link. they are not cheap, but very elegant.
They are known to have a long life span, with reports of animals living for over 25 years. This should be taken into account if you are considering a water dragon as a pet; they are a very large, long term commitment!
Indoor Enclosures
• Enclosures must be at least three times the length of the animal, and twice the length of the animal in width.
• Make sure enclosures are tight and escape proof, as dragons are master escapees.
• Adequate ventilation to ensure airflow and reduce
humidity is required.
• A large water area is required, at least as big as the
animal, and should be cleaned daily.
As an adult the minmum enclosure size is 3m x 2m. australian measurement=meters.
none of the exoterra cages would hold an adult, they are too short:

most people buy a 55 gallon long aquarium or bigger and get a screen lid that clamps down tight.

thatts a care sheet (recommended to print out for future reference)
and a custom cage? It would probably be very expensive buty just go to the exo terra site becuase they have some really good cages

hope that helps!
