Take the sink trap drains loose under the sink and clean them out. That should do the trick.

Two methods... First try a snake. The other I method use often use - but don't necessarily recommend is using a hose. THE SNAKE: You need to get a 'snake' and run it into the pipe after the ubend - Other wise known as a "trap." The trap traps sewer gas from leaking into the room. The clog is most likely an the joint just after the trap. A snake will catch onto the obstruction and then allow you to pull it out. A snake can be bought at a hardware store and has a hook on the end. You rotate it clockwise while working it into the pipe. Then pull it back. If you don't get a clump of stinky garb. on the end when you pull it back you need to do it again but get the snake deeper into the pipe. THE HOSE: Wet a rag, put the hose down the pipe about 6 inches and stuff the wet rag around the hose in the pipe to stop water from leaking out of the pipe. Then hold the rag tight while someone else turns on the water. This blows the pipe free but if the clog is after the vent pipe, you may not be as successful since the water will go up the vent pipe. Use caution.

Phone book is full of plumbers. If you have a big pair of pliers (Channel locks) I'd recommend removing the J or P trap underneath the sink to see if that's where the clog is at. If it's further down the drain line then you'll need some type of drain cleaner or get a snake and roto it out.

Under the sink is the trap. It is a "U" shape in the drain pipe. It is held on by two large nuts. Borrow a pair of slip joint pliers (Channel-lock) or a pipe wrench. Put a bucket under the trap and loosen the two nuts. The trap will slide off. Be careful, it will be full of gross - smelly stuff (that is why the bucket is there). Dump the stuff out of the trap and rinse it. Replace the trap and re-tighten the two nuts.
