Will the Pioneer VSX-520-K 5.1 Home Theater Receiver work with the Energy Take Classic speaker system?

I'm planning on connecting it with a monitor (Multiple HDMI inputs) and a dvd player (1080 p unconverting with an HDMI output). I'm planning on using 16 guage speaker wire with the speakers. Will this set up work?

    You don't have to match the brand names, just make sure your speakers are rated to handle the output power of the receiver and the impedance(ohms).

    By the way,that's a nice looking speaker system :D
