Are pocket knives allowed in checked luggage?

I am flying on Frontier tomorrow and I was wondering if my swiss army knife would be confiscated if its not in my carry on, but my checked luggage. I want to bring it because I will be hiking and camping in Colorado where I am going.

    Definitely! Knives in checked luggage is OK. As are other things you could not carry on.

    Yes. I've brought my pocketknife in checked luggage many times.

    Yea you can check it. People fly with guns too. You just cant carry on any dangerous object
