I AM PENSIONER & HAVE PENSION ABOUT 2 .5 lacks?

i want to know if i have to file income tax return or not for yr 2011- 2012

    no need up to 5 lakh income

    No, you need not file any IT return unless you have some other source of income also.I am sure you are a senior citizen according to the IT rules.

    don't have to, if total income ( including interests, rents etc. ) is within 5 lakhs.

    ask d auditor or any tax consultant he will be able 2 guide u better with some nominal fees
