Have you used a resume and cover letter writing service?

I need some help with my resume and cover letter. I want to use a professional writing service. Can anyone who has used any of these online websites tell me about your experience? I only want advice if you have used these sites. What sites should I avoid? What is the best one to use in terms of quality and customer service? A lot of sites say they have a money-back guarantee but sometimes that is not the case.

You can't go wrong using the ones associated with Careerbuilder or Monster. Good luck!

Most resume services are not worth it because they simply take the information from a form that you filled out and put it into a resume template that they use for every single person. My services are nothing like this! I do personal consultations through the telephone or via email with every client to ensure that I understand what they want. My prices are very similar to the one you are stating. If you'd like my services, please visit my website.

I used Chandler Resumes http://chandlerresumes.wordpress.com/ and she did a fantastic job! She worked very closely with me through email and had my professional resume back to me within 3 days. And her prices were incredibly reasonable. Just $20 for reformat/edit, $30 for creation/update, $40 for creation/update/w/ cover letter.

Yup and it is much easier to use them than write a letter yourself.
