Depends on what you want them for - at home use, career use, etc. I use the Wahl Switchblade clippers, have been for the past year and a half. I've vey satisfied with them, but i'm not using them every day (i get maybe 5-10 grooms a week, the rest are bath and de-shed).

If you're doing multiple grooms per day you might want a heavier duty pair. I know Oster and Andis make some good heavy duty clippers. The only thing i suggest avoiding would be the "all in one" kits you see at some pet stores - often times they're not very good quality.

possibly the time for speaking with mum is over and now it fairly is time for action. you need to placed money right into a solid dogs brush. Brush your dogs daily outdoors and eliminate all fur into the garbage bin. Secondly, do no longer merely talk proper to the vacuuming, merely get going and do it each couple of days. provide mum a ask your self and wipe down all surfaces that could get carry of dogs fur. attempt to share the partiality. each so often giving the dogs too plenty affection can spur a feeling of being surpassed over in some people. Your mum ought to get the effect which you adore the dogs greater. possibly you need to strengthen your thoughts for you mum via telling her you adore her and understand that there is a project which you're actually going to attempt and fasten, or a minimum of take on the lions share of the artwork to maintain the relatives living house quite fur unfastened. save the nails trimmed with a solid clipper. solid luck with your endeavours.

Oster is a real workhorse but the Andies fit my hands better. Both are good as long as you keep you take basic steps to clean and oil it. The blades are the most important thing, if they are dull nothing works good

Furminator by a long shot. Note that there are different sizes for different dogs. It took a while to get my lab used to it, but now I can easily get rid of piles of hair. Love it. Tried a bunch of different ones before I forked out the cash for the furminator.
