Where do I put my temporay tags?

I just bought a suv and had to go to the DMV to get temporary tags. Where do I put them? I thought you placed them where you put your actual license plate but what they gave me was just a printed out piece of paper... and what if it rains???

    Are you sure they are tags ?

    Tape it to the back window inside if its a paper temp tag.
