Can you suggest a very basic electronic notebook with a keyboard?

So, I'm off work for at least a few weeks with a broken right arm, and I can't write at all - but I can still type. I don't really want to invest hundreds in a full-scale laptop; all I need is a screen, a keyboard and a usb port, the lighter the better. Can anybody suggest something for me, or at least point me to where I can start a search? Many thanks.

Start at newegg.com, I have an old, very old Tandy TRS-80 that is like that, it does not have USB, it uses Cassette Tape for data storage, it is an ancient Computer but it still works, in BASIC.

I have Puppy and other *nix systems on USBs and have mede them Persistent so that I can use them to read and write to or store data on.

I also have an old AMD laptop that I use a LiveDVD in, I made the DVD-RW open so that I can use it as a storage drive and it also keeps my settings.

So yes, it can be done on the cheap, you just have to give up on Microsoft to support it.
