Will green anoles eat each others?
I just got three anoles a few weeks ago. I keep them in a brand new 10 gallon tank that has to holes or cracks. I have a heavy mesh lid on top of the cage that even I have trouble opening sometimes. When I left earlier today, all three were in there. When I came back, there were only two. So, my question is, since there is NO way he could have escaped, could the other two have eaten him? Do green anoles cannibalize other green anoles? Please help! D:

If you feed them then they will not cannibalize. There must be a way out. I had 6 in a 30 gallon and they are still all there.

I never had an anole eat another one, not even after one died. I guess it could happen, though-are you sure it isn't just hiding somewhere in the cage or dead somewhere you don't see it unless you look really hard.

They do eat each other if there is a significant size difference, they are also escape masters and camouflage artists so perhaps check again.
