I wear a women's 8.5 US in shoes, should i order a UK size 6 or 7 when getting Dr. Martens?

UK size 6 is for womens us size 7.5-8 and uk size 7 is for us womens size 8.5-9 so idk which to get

    I lived in Nz for most of my life (Which got colonized by the UK) So we have the same size system. Im also an 8.5 in U.S

    So i always wore a 7 sometimes Very rare occasions a size 8 depending on the shoe...

    So i say get the size 7
