My freshwater bamboo plant keeps dying?

I got my freshwater bamboo plant from petco and it keeps dying! it's really getting annoying like the leaves are like turning sorta clear.

what can i do?

    That is not a true aquatic plant. It will eventually die if kept completely underwater, regardless of what you do.

    Try replacing it with a true aquatic, easy-care plant like Java Fern or Anubias.

    bamboo is not an aquatic plant. If you submerge it completely under water it will die. Make sure to keep it mostly out of water and it should survive.
