What do you think of Democracy?

Democracy is pushed by those who want to Crash a Country. That's the quickest way to do it, the quickest way to Despotism. George Soros loves him some Democracy, because he loves destroying the fiber and backbone of a country so it can be easily controlled by outside by those who can bribe.

Soros and the Rotshchild Cartel were behind the Arab Spring. They are working with the Muslim Brotherhood who are Genocidal Religious Zealots. They are using the Muslim Brotherhood I should say.

What kind of Moron discusses Capitalism vs Democracy? One is a political system, the other economic. I guess the same kind of moron who suggests Jesus is for Stealing from one group without the votes to stop it to pay another group to be a voting block. That wasn't Jesus' thing at all.

Democracy works best societies that value individuality like ours. Which doesn't make it the best. In cultures that value nationalism (china), communism works best. In societies that value spirituality (iran) theocracy works best (although iran is kinda bad at it). The only true democracy in the world is Switzerland, where laws are passed when a petition for a certain law gains X amount of signatures. Needless to say, in small countries like switzerland, it works wonderfully. However in a huge country of hundreds of millions of people, like the US, democracy is ineffective and undecisive. Unfortunately a democratic republic is the best system we've come up with so far. Still better than a dictatorship. Communism is more efficient in theory, disasterous in practice. And pretty much every other kind of government is a dictatorship in one form or another.

Democracy is only good if one is in the majority. The US was not formed to be a democracy it was formed as a republic. A republic has rule of law where all people are equal under the law. This is a better form of government than democracy, unfortunately the average person in the US does not understand this and as result the rights of the people are being eroded and the republic is turning into a tyranny.

A failed form of government.... its not whoever gets the majority that wins it's whoever haves the most money wins.

Votes are nothing If you dont have the money. democracy was once a proud form of government now its just 2 parties bitchin at eachother blaming the other side instead of fixing problems in our society.

Democracy as in ruled by the people, yes.

Democracy as in mob rule, no.

Constitutional Republic, were people have freedoms and rights, including their OWN MONEY, no doubt.

Democracy for basic functions of society. The rest up to individuals to freely decide their own choices.

I dont favor democracy in most areas of society. I dont want 51% of the public deciding what I eat or anything.

Do people understand that a representitive democracy ( aka a republic ) is also a mob rule?

If 51% of the population wants to do something radical, they just elect a candidate that wants to do something that radical...

What actually protects the minority is our constitution and supreme court, being a republic doesn't have much to do with it. Being a republic never protected us from years of slavery & segregation but amending and enforcing our constitution did.
