AMD Radeon and nVidia cards in one system?

is it possible to have an AMD card as your main card and then a nVidia for 3d and physx as a secondary in a computer at the same time?

That doesn't work any more. People were experimenting with that a few years ago but Nvidia updated their drivers so that PhysX support is disabled when any non-Nvidia card is detected.

It quite would not rely on your case, they are the two greater or much less a similar for the tier card you would be getting. right this is an in intensity description on the variations. (ideas you those are in undemanding terms substantial in extreme-end enjoying cards) the only component that provides one the sting over the different is that Nvidia has sole rights to the PhysX engine. Radeon enjoying cards will allocate PhysX to the CPU. Nvidia enjoying cards oftentimes run at decrease temperatures than Radeon enjoying cards (Generate much less warmth) Nvidia enjoying cards are normally greater costly than Radeon enjoying cards Nvidia enjoying cards are normally smaller in actual length than Radeon enjoying cards Radeon enjoying cards oftentimes use greater electrical energy than Nvidia enjoying cards Radeon enjoying cards are greater suitable for overclocking considering they use greater electrical energy
