Super important enlistment question!!!?
I really want the big green job factory to straighten out my life for me. I want a lot of money for college (even though I only finished high school out of my teachers' sense of charity) and I will ONLY enlist for special forces! I have five kids from three different women, I hope that DEERS and Tri-Care can sort them all out 'cause I sure can't!
I really was going to join when I was younger, but all my stints in and out of jail and addiction treatment took up all my time. Will the Green Berets respect me more since I'm older? I mean, I have a lot of real world experience that some young punk can't possibly bring to the table!

Well if you have past experiences that are criminal, some special forces corps will not accept you in pretty much every case presented to them. It also depends on what you did that was criminal.
And documented addiction treatment might be a problem too, as branches of the armed forces do not want someone who is unstable. It depends on how long ago you had an addiction.
For your point of bringing up real world experience, in my opinion most special forces want a young kid that will be easily shaped into their way of life that "got good grades" I guess you can say. Most of the time younger is better in the military also.

I only read as far as the first disqualification I found, any more would be a waist of my time.
You do not meet the dependency requirements (you got to many kids)
No waiver authorized.

Jesus with all that dependents and criminal acts is unlikely.
Also you have to join the "Normal" military branch first before you can join any special forces.
