Which brake pads would be the best for a Lincoln Town Car 2005, semi-metalic or ceramic.?

I have a 2005 Lincoln Town Car and the rotors shimmy when applying the brakes, so I'm going to change the rotors and was wondering which pads would be the best, semi-metalic or ceramic.

Ceramic pads create a lot of heat and can cause rotor warping in addition to requiring a bit more force applied to the brake pedal. Ventilated rotors are a necessity. I personally would go with the semi-metallic pads.

Ford's original brake parts were designed by engineers specifically for that car. You can roll the dice guessing what parts might work, or you can stick with the brake component specifications from Ford for your make year model. Not all steel rotors, brake pads and calipers are created equal! I'd stick with the OEM hardware types from name brand brake parts manufactures including NAPA, Raybestos, Bendix etc.

thats basic, take the wheels off, you want a 10mm wrench. Undo both bolts protecting the caliper, eliminate the caliper, take the former pads out. Compress the caliper with a C clamp. placed the recent pads in. placed the caliper again on. extremely no longer some thing to it. make helpful you get the bolts tight so the caliper would not come off although.

ceramic pads are quieter but more expensive use economy rotors
