FTP issue..waiting for welcome message... please help.?

I am trying to upload a website, I have hosting through 123.reg (bought today).

I amusing FileZilla, and have used it succesfully for another couple of ftp servers.

but for the new domain it says:

Status: Resolving address of awisewoman.co.uk

Status: Connecting to 94.136.40.82:21...

Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...

Error: Connection timed out

Error: Could not connect to server

Status: Waiting to retry...

etc....

I even set up a second ftp account in the 123.reg toolbox, but got the same results.

even tried it through Dreamweaver...No Joy!

If you have any advice please share it

Thank you

Update:

Thanks again..

I have now resolved it by using the alternative numerical host name.
