I was expecting an email from this sender with an attachment, and when it arrived the attachment was:

title.rtf.txt

I downloaded it and opened with notepad, and it just read:

"title.rtf has been blocked by the recipient policy."

I am using the outlook.com web mail.

does this mean that they sent an rtf file which has been blocked, or that they didn't upload it correctly, where has this message come from, and can i do anything to get it unblocked?

I am an amateur photography, mostly just a hobby. A company has approached me through flickr, and would like to buy one of my photos for their office wall.

I have no idea on a price or what contract if any I should be using.

Hi... I am trying to assign an 8GB usb flash drive as my virtual memory on my XP machine.

I go to System>Advanced>Performance>Advanced>Virtual Memory

and i can see the flash drive in the top window, I select it, set a file size (I also tried not paging).

I press ok, Windows tells me I need to re-boot for changes to take effect, and when i re-boot.....

It has forgotten everything, and defaulted back to my C: drive.

I have tried this with 2 different flash drives, on 2 different XP machines, and neither remember the setting.

If you know why, or can offer any advice.. I would appreciate it.

I am looking to buy a lens, I found a website called procamerashop.co.uk that have it much cheaper than elsewhere.

They have a uk address, but i googled reviews of the company, and they are all (except 1) very good, but so similar, that i suspect that they are all fake (except 1 probably).

has anyone used them, or heard of them, or agree that the reviews look suss?

The slider (JQuery Java) works perfectly in Internet Explorer and in Firefox, but not Chrome.

in Chrome it says javascript:void(0); in the bottom corner.

If anyone can tell me why or how to fix this, I would very much appreciate it.

I am going to a bird of prey centre today, to photograph flying birds. I am not sure on the best way to ensure that the shots will be in focus. I will most likely be using the canon 70-200 F4L on a 500d, it has USM but I don't think it will be fast enough to keep up. I usually use centre point only to focus. Any tips would be greatfully received.

I have created a test site, and uploaded with filezilla, but instead of the domain opening index.html, I get an index of the root folder. The site works if you then click on the index.html.

How do I get the domain to open index.html?

I inderstand all the basic principals of photography, but i was wondering this:

If I am shooting a still life from a tripod, and manually focus on the front of the object. Then change my aperture from F4 to F8; does the now wider depth of field appear to the camera side of the focus point, or is it applied behind the focus point, or is the focus point in the centre of the focus range?

I hope that makes sense, and ignore the exposure change that will obviously be required.

I saw on TV (James May's Man Lab) how to make a whisky vaporiser/atomiser.

Basically you pressurise a small amount of whisky with a bicycle pump, then when the pressure is released the whisky turns to vapour and you can inhale it.

Well I made one, and it works well, although you use so little whisky I doubt you will ever get drunk from it.

My question is.... Is the vapour more likely to be made of the whole liquid, or would the alcohol be 'pulled out' of the solution and vaporised more readily.

Also would it enter my bloodstream quicker or at all being inhaled.

What I would like to do is:

have a worksheet with all the data in, the column headings would be:

date | description | price

then on a separate worksheet I want an invoice where I can enter 2 dates and it will pull through all the data falling within those 2 dates.

I am hoping that, for example, if there are 10 rows of data falling between the 2 dates, that the 10 rows will be pulled through and appear on the invoice page.

I hope that makes sense, and thank you for any help.

it has MS office on, I have a disk, but don't know the key.

I need to put windows XP on this PC, is there a way i can keep the office programs ? or get the key, so i can re-install it after I have installed XP?

I am trying to upload a website, I have hosting through 123.reg (bought today).

I amusing FileZilla, and have used it succesfully for another couple of ftp servers.

but for the new domain it says:

Status: Resolving address of awisewoman.co.uk

Status: Connecting to 94.136.40.82:21...

Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...

Error: Connection timed out

Error: Could not connect to server

Status: Waiting to retry...

etc....

I even set up a second ftp account in the 123.reg toolbox, but got the same results.

even tried it through Dreamweaver...No Joy!

I am trying to align 2 shots, both shot on the tripod, but it moved slightly between shots. but the 'Auto-Align Layers' in the edit menu is greyed out. can anyone tell me why, or how to get it to work please.

I am studying website design, but I'm very much a beginner.

I have created a website, the offline version works perfectly in firefox, but the links don't work in internet explorer.

I have uploaded it to a free hosting site (000webhost) and the address is http:\\www.tomwray.webuda.com

The photo page works fine, and all the other links should just go to a blank template page. The music link works in internet explorer, and sort of works in firefox, but the rest of the links (about, contact & other) just go to error pages.

I created the homepage in fireworks. and uploaded with filezilla. I have checked the directory and all the html and image files are present.

I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on why the links aren't working. (any other input would also be gratefully received).

Hi everyone.

I'm male 34, 5 foot 10, and around 70KG (154lbs)

So I am a reasonable shape, I climb regularly so my arms are ok, but I need to tone my belly in 2 weeks for a beach holiday.

I am thinking of doing some running, and leg raises on my pull-up bar, sit-ups and press-ups for the next 2 weeks to get a flatter belly. i don't really need to lose much/any weight.

if anyone has any tips on whether I am planning the correct type of exercise, or has any other suggestions please let me know.
