selling a photograph?
I am an amateur photography, mostly just a hobby. A company has approached me through flickr, and would like to buy one of my photos for their office wall.
I have no idea on a price or what contract if any I should be using.
Any advice please ?
Thank you

I sell PRINTS, not digital files in this situation.
Ask them what size print they want and be ready with prices for a print from 16x20 to 30x40 and if your file will go larger more power to you. This is not a job for your local big box store printing by the way.
There are some very good places to get prints that will last under the light of an office so this will take a bit of time before you quote them.
Pricing, 5 x what it cost me to have it printed, shipped and framed... you are looking at over 700.oo for a well printed, framed print.

How much do you want to sell it for? How big a print do they want?
I suggest selling just the print, not the digital file. An 8x10 or so could go for 20 - 50, a larger print for 50 - 100, a very large print for 100 - 200, assuming that printing costs are going to be no more than 1/4 of the total.
