How long does it take to get hooked on oxy codone?
I just had knee op on july 7. I take 2-5mg pills every 4 hours because of the pain. I just don't want to get hooked on them. But I have to take them for the pain. I am in a lot of pain.

Sounds like your taking it as prescribed, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about, you would have to take it for a long period of time, months, if not more than a year to get hooked on that dosage, just don't take more than what it says and you won't get addicted.

It depends on how often you take it and how many mg it is.
If you don't want to become addicted, DO NOT abuse it or get any sort of tolerance. Take it orally and DO NOT snort it or take it any other way.
Talk to your doctor about this issue.

It will take too long, but you have to consult your Doctor for proper dosage.
