SoCal people: Is CARMAGEDDON going to ruin your weekend!?

yes, because i work on the weekends. i live in brentwood (west of 405) and work is in west hollywood (east of 405).

Yeah, Pup's right. Much ado about nothing. It's been a slow news month, so CARMAGEDDON is the big deal. Heck, the weather's pretty darn boring (sunshine, sunshine, sunshine), so they need to come up with something to justify that degree in journalism.

You want the REAL carmageddon? That was back last October when Obama hit town, and gridlocked the west side of LA.

You must remember that the 405 will ONLY close over the Supulveda Pass on the west side of town. If you don't live or travel near there you shouldn't have any problems. I live about 35 miles from there, and I don't see any reason for traffic disruptions way out here. I think it's all a lot of ( a phrase that could earn me a Violation Notice).

Ruin is a strong word.

I'd say Carmageddon will slightly molest my weekend.

It will make no difference to me.

I live in the South Bay and plan on staying here.

I'm seriously thinking on what I'm going to do when I go to Long Beach this weekend! 0_0
