Who is queen Elizabeth named after?

Queen Elizabeth 2, Its confusing because she could be named after the great queen Elizabeth 1 of England or she could be name after her mother who is also named Elizabeth, although its likely that it is the first option but I dont know.. can you tell me please?

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom

Christened Elizabeth Alexandra Mary after her mother, great-grandmother and grandmother, each of whom was a queen consort, Her Majesty has always used her first name both informally and officially.

HM's full name is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.

Elizabeth--for her mother, Queen Elizabeh The Queen Mother.

Alexandra--for her paternal great-grandmother, Queen Alexandra (consort of King Edward VII).

Mary-for her paternal grandmother, Queen Mary (consort of King George V).

I think it's likely that both her mother and the first Queen Elizabeth were taken into consideration when the name was chosen.

Edit: While it's true that Elizabeth was "not supposed to be" Queen, she was born 3rd in line, and there were people who had serious doubts that her Uncle David would ever marry and produce children. One of them was Prince David's father, King George V. 3rd in line was quite close to the throne, given that David WAS childless at the time of Elizabeth's birth. Since George himself seems to have anticipated that his granddaughter would become Queen (he commented on the subject when she was very small), it is not at all beyond the realm of possibility that when her parents chose her name, they thought not only of naming her for her mother but also of the fact that it was the name of the nation's great 16th-century queen regnant.

After her mother. At the time she was born it was considered unlikely that she would ever inherit the throne as her father was only the second son on George V and her oldest uncle (the future Edward VIII and Duke of Windsor) was at that time unmarried.

The Queen was was named Elizabeth after her mother, Alexandra after King George V's mother (who had died six months earlier), and Mary after her grandmother.

It is possible the name was also chosen in honour of Queen Elizabeth I, however I don't think it was a crucial factor.

Combined with the choice of her middle names, we get a clear picture; the little Princess was named after her mother (Elizabeth), grandmother (Mary) and great-grandmother (Alexandra), thus showing continuity.

She had her Sister of course,Margret Rose. I am not sure if the Queen has a second name? After her Mother and Elizabeth 1st,as the others say.

Since royals preserve traditions and symbolizes continuity, its normal if Elizabeth is named as such because there was a queen who had reigned in England, queens consort who also named Elizabeth (including her mother) and lastly because her mother is also "Elizabeth".
