What is wrong about closing tax loopholes?
There is a reason why they are called loopholes. I am just an employee, and pay my taxes in full. People with money use loopholes. And somehow it is immoral to touch those loopholes. WTF?

Loopholes are legal & put in the tax code to encourage certain activities.
The tax code applies to everyone - anyone can use the tax loopholes.
Besides, Obama would just spend that extra money in a heartbeat & nothing would change.

Because there are all kinds of special interests on ALL sides that want these loopholes (aka tax advantages). Pretty soon the IRS code looks like a telephone book for a city of 20 million or so. That's been around since the income tax started in 1913. The first tax "loopholes" were for very rich people BTW.

so true, you hear people say the rich pay 35% in income tax, well anybody paying that full 35% need to get them a new tax accountant. The rich make 90% of the income but only pay 70% of the taxes. The middle class is being crushed under the weight.

Capitalism don't work that way. Welcome to america!!! Where the rich get richer and fire middle class ppl so they can make even more money and use those loopholes to buy a gold flag for their golf course.

They should all be closed. Corporations don't need the welfare in fact they shouldn't even get a deduction for taxes they pay in another country.
