Do I have to stretch my ears just to get to 18's?

I really really want these awesome earrings/plugs i found but they require my ears to be stretched to 18ga. my ears are only pierced so would it be hard to fit the earrings in without stretching them?

Update:

No, not at all. When they pierce your ears w/ a gun, they use 20g posts. It would slide right in. I did that with 16g and it wasn't even sore.

18ga is only 1mm. So im pretty sure you won't have to stretch your ear properly to fit them in. Thats about the size of a normal piercing

  • 18 gauge is about what a normal post earring is. 8 gauge would need to be stretched.

You won't be able to tell the difference between 18g and 20g. It should go in just like a regular earring.

No. Not at all, go for it. I went from having a piercing, to 16g then to 12g, skipt by 2 sizes or 4 if you would wanna say.
