I am a first time guppy owner with a 5 gallon aquarium. According to the pet store all of my fish were female, because they keep them separated from the males. Now one of them looks rather pregnant. Another one is pretty shy. The other two fish are quite aggressive with those two and I'm worried about their health. It could very well be possible that the pet store made a mistake and gave some male guppies. If that's the case they're probably trying to mate but I'm worried about the females getting too stressed.

I know they're coming and I don't want them anywhere near me. Is there something I can spray them with from a distance or do I have to kill them manually by squashing them? Seriously if one of those things lands on me I'm gonna freak out. Is there any way to prevent them from coming to the surface?

My bearded dragon's nails are long to the point where they are curling and I think they might be hurting her toes when she walks. Is there a way to safely trim them at home? I've trimmed off the tiny black points at the end but that doesn't really do anything about the length.

I mean that are good as moisturizers, not just because they smell good. Don't tell me Bath & Body Works or Victoria's Secret. They're full of alcohol and crap like that.

Why is one a vegetable and the other a fruit? They both grow on low thick vines and even the leaves and flowers are similar. What exactly makes one a melon and the other a squash?

I've been out of school for 10 years now so I'm sure some things have changed. But, I remember the days where you needed to be proficient in something in order to get a passing grade. Why is it that highschoolers still don't know the difference between they're, their, and there? Why are there suddenly so many different spellings of the word "tomorrow"? Those are just some examples I've encountered with teenagers that should know better. Teenagers from all over the country. When I was in school if you couldn't do something correctly, you failed. My question is why can a 17-year-old get a driver's license, but they can't put together a simple sentence?

My prom was 10 years ago. For ages teens (girls in particular) spend an entire year or more fretting about their prom. From the dress to the hair to the nails to the makeup to the shoes. I think the guys start caring an hour before when they can't figure out how to put on their ties. Anyway, my prom was just kinda bleh, even though it was at a really fancy hotel. A little bit of dancing and a lot of standing around criticizing what everyone else was wearing. A lot of people brought drugs with them (real drugs, I mean coke and ecstasy) just to make the evening more interesting. It was the after parties that were fun. I think some teens need to chill out and stop driving themselves crazy over a glorified school dance that is going to be supervised by your teachers. So my question is to anyone who has gone to their prom already, was it worth the money and the hassle?

I desperately need to cut my beauty budget so I need to drop my normal mascara (Chanel Inimitable Intense, $30). Any suggestions for a lengthening and separating mascara? No bad smells, smudging, flaking, or clumping please. It doesn't have to be drugstore but preferably under $20. Thanks!

Why do they always look perky with smiles on their faces?

Lemon juice and olive oil are great for making Chicken Piccata but they won't lighten hair, get rid of freckles, or make your hair grow. If you have severe acne you cannot cure it with toothpaste. Mane n' Tail is 1) a brand name, not an actual horse shampoo and 2) does not work differently than any other shampoo. Cocoa butter will not make your stretch marks magically disappear. You cannot "dye" or "bleach" your hair with anyting except dye or bleach. Prenatal vitamins will not make your hair grow faster. They are healthy for your body, and you don't have to be a certain age or pregnant to take them.

Like mayo and olive oil and rubbing alcohol and honey and guacamole and egg yolks and nail polish remover and lemon juice and vaseline and pepto bismol and mustard and hydrogen peroxide and apple sauce and peanut butter and cottage cheese??? I heard somewhere that works.

I'm not talking about a few little lines on the hip. I mean real stretch marks that go from your hip to your butt to the top of your thigh. Mine are like that even though I'm skinny and I always cover up with shorts unless I'm in the water but sometimes I see girls who just strut their stuff and let it all hang out and it looks so tacky. What do you guys think?

I'm thinking corn or king but maybe there are others. Any suggestions from experienced owners?

So my bf and I were having a discussion about style last night and we came to the conclusion that we both dress like bums. Jeans and tees and sneakers every day. Of course we don't shop in the same department but you know what I mean. Then we tried to brainstorm about what we would look like if we wanted to be sophisticated and didn't come up with much. I guess this means we couldn't look sophisticated even if we tried. So my question is if you were to give my boyfriend and I a makeover, how would you make us look sophisticated? What would you describe as a sophisticated style for people in their late 20's and early 30's?

Also we couldn't figure out if sophisticated ladies wear socks. Do they wear socks or just pantyhose?

During the spring and summer months do you go for the bright/colorful look or the bronze/tan look? Or do you wear less makeup or none at all? What are your favorite products?
