Why are people so gullible when it comes to home beauty remedies?

Lemon juice and olive oil are great for making Chicken Piccata but they won't lighten hair, get rid of freckles, or make your hair grow. If you have severe acne you cannot cure it with toothpaste. Mane n' Tail is 1) a brand name, not an actual horse shampoo and 2) does not work differently than any other shampoo. Cocoa butter will not make your stretch marks magically disappear. You cannot "dye" or "bleach" your hair with anyting except dye or bleach. Prenatal vitamins will not make your hair grow faster. They are healthy for your body, and you don't have to be a certain age or pregnant to take them.

Because the MORE MAGIC FORMULAS they acquire, the more THEY THINK will solve ALL THEIR PROBLEMS. It's their last resort.

That's why you & I come in to the FORMULA to give them awareness.

It is a billion dollar business, and no amount of MAGIC FORMULA can cure all of their problems. NOTHING.

You get them all from good genes, good hair / beauty care, and ALL THE HEALTHY FOODS you eat from Mother Nature, NOT MADE BY MAN. Most of the people giving advice here are 15 & under, and they have NOT BEEN around to KNOW BETTER. They read them on blogs, and they hear them from their friends, etc. but that's another form of advertisements, until they TOO have tried them, wasting more foods & money . . . since they don't have the same genes, or the same beauty or hair care as everyone else, they all don't have the 'one size fits all'. WE also don't have the same allergies.

Prenatal vitamins don't make your hair grow. Pregnant women have to start taking care of their bodies when they're pregnant, meaning stop smoking, drinking, dyeing or perming their hair SO OF COURSE their hair start growing again. But it has nothing to do with their hair, it has something to do to help the development of their unborn child. According to the fashion site, Mayo Clinic experts warn that too much iron can be problem if you are not expecting.

And Cairfair.com said: 'Too much iron over long periods of time can cause damage to vital organs like the heart and liver and can even lead to arthritis if the iron deposits settle in your joints.'

More & more teenagers have problem growing their hair, and more of them have hair loss. Women go through the same problem, but it took them 60-90 years to get there, but 15 & under having problem growing hair or having hair loss, and they're giving advice on YA HAIR? Go figure!

The only time I've ever used "home remedies" is in regards to illnesses, never beauty/cosmetics aha. People are probably so gullible to them because the reviews/ideas are given by people who have supposedly tried and tested it and claimed that it works "magnificently". Personally, I just think that home beauty treatments are simply a placebo of the "real deal" - people psychologically make themselves believe that it has some form of improvement, yet it doesn't physically.

Actually, lemon juice will help dark marks disappear over time, and freckles too, prenatal vitamins do make your hair grow faster, as well as your nails and it makes both stronger, you can dye your hair with kool aid, if it's light, and I have never heard of cocoa butter "disappearing" stretch marks they advertise it to PREVENT stretch marks and that too helps buddy. Do some research or try things out before you start to bash.

Source(s): Personal freaking experience, I've had four kids so I noticed the prenatals doing awesome things to my hair and nails, and cocoa butter kept me mark free, u just have to constantly use it and put a lot on, and lemon juice cleares my aunts freckles an lightened my knees when I was muh younger.

Because Satan tricks them. Gullibleness is the 8th deadly sin.
