A fun poll about makeup?
During the spring and summer months do you go for the bright/colorful look or the bronze/tan look? Or do you wear less makeup or none at all? What are your favorite products?
- I go for the bright/colorful looks like chartreuse, green, turquoise, and coral.
@safiqul: yes, I know this, I used to work in the cosmetics field, that's why I specified by saying "makeup" in reference to color.

Hm, in the summer I definitely lighten up on my face makeup. I hate wearing foundation in the summer because it's so humid and it clogs my pores. So, I just stick to concealer and maybe a little powder during the warmer months.
As far as lip colors go, I don't really wear deep plums, reds, burgundies etc in the summer. I prefer sticking to lighter pinks, nudes, corals etc.
My eye makeup is pretty much the same year round (cat eye and mascara), but I do love using bronzey shadows sometimes in the summer.
I have a ton of favorite makeup products, but here are some I adore using in the summer:
MAC Blush in 'Peaches' paired with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in 'Gold Deposit' (gives me the most gorgeous, sun-browned, peachy-bronze cheeks).
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (I use this year round, but it's an even huger help in the summer to keep the sweltering heat from melting my eye makeup off).
NARS Blush in 'Cactus Flower' (such a pretty coral color with a nice golden sheen. Perfect for summer!)
MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencils & MAC Pro Longwear Lip Cremes (I love these because they feel comfortable and really stay in place all day).
Smashbox Bronze Lights Bronzer
Maybelline Colossal Volum Express Waterproof Mascara (holds up really nicely in the summer heat)
Youngblood Minerals Mineral Rice Setting Powder (does not feel heavy, provides light coverage, and keeps me from looking like a complete oil slick)
TiGi Makeup Marker (my favorite liquid liner. I once wore it while doing makeup for a fashion show. 13 hours in a crowded, sweaty, hot room and this stuff was still perfect).
Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in 'Kanani' (such a pretty bright pink for summer!)
NARS Highlighter Powder in 'Albatross (looks summer pretty when it catches the sunlight)

i wear a light powder and brown eyeliner instead of black. i get freckles in the summer so i don't use a heavy foundation because i like to let them show through. i sometimes wear bronzer if i'm not looking very tanned.
in the evening i like to wear minimal makeup, basically the same as the day but with a lipstick such as a coral colour or light pink.

My eyes are too deep set to pull off bright colours, I just look like I've been punched.
If it's really sunny I wear minimal make up (like just a bit of concealer where I need it and a bit of mascara) in the hope that I catch a tan (!!!) but seeing as it's the UK, it's rarely sunny, so I just tend to wear my normal make up just with a bit more bronzer/darker foundation to try and give the illusion of a tan :-(

It depends somedays I just wear tinted moisturizer cheek stain Lipgloss and mascara BUT I also like to go all out somedays since it's summer and wear bright blue eyeliner or eyeshadow. Usually I wear less makeup than winter(;

I go for bronzey eyeshadows and bright blushes. I wear less makeup, usually just a powder or a lightweight foundation or tinted moisturizer. And I always wear SPF! :)

I just wear mascara. It's too hot and makeup will just melt off. Even with primer. Some shorts, a cute top, sun screen, pretty shoes and lose wavy hair is all that's needed :)
Oh and water!
