Can someone explain why this snake doesn't kill this child? (video)?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oh0v_DHFrw&NR=1

This is a weird video I just found, maybe someone could explain? Has anyone seen this before on their travels, has the cobra had is venom removed or something?

Please, no hippies answering about how 'irresponsible' it is, unless you actually have a clue about the background of this video.

The fangs and glands that produce the venom were taken out of the snake. This was shown on the news a couple of years ago, because everyone had the same questions.

Ha! If human beings such as you defined certainly donated 20% of their earning to actual charities, we does not might desire to develop taxes. each little thing may be super. however the wealthy do not donate very plenty, and that they don't usually volunteer of their unfastened time. they're too busy hiding their earnings and finding for ways to steer sparkling of paying taxes. And the hypothetical mogul on your concern might probably pay decrease taxes than the $38,000 a 365 days salaried worker, by way of fact he might desire to take great thing approximately all of the loopholes that wealthy tax cheats have get admission to to.

What Maria said. Also, snakes don't have an innate desire to kill. Unless the child is taunting the snake or hurting it, the snake will probably not bite.
