How would this Bob Marley quote translate into German?

"Love the life you live, live the life you love'

I want to get it as a tattoo

I speak German fluently, but the syntax is kind of confusing me.

Would it be "Lieben das lLeben, dass du lebst. Leben das Leven, dass du liebst", or is there a shorter way that makes sense?

"Liebe das Leben, das du lebst, lebe das Leben, das du liebst"

it is _not_ dass!!! there is no subjunction there, but "das" and it refers to "Leben"

you could easily interchange with "welches" or "was"

Liebe das Leben, welches du lebst... just as example to show you.

also it is "Leben" not "Leven"

    also it is not

"Lieben das Leben" nor "Leben das Leben" because the imperative singular informal is "liebe" and "lebe"

P.S. I would not tattoo this anywhere, but this is your decision, I recommend to get a solar tattoo first to see if you like it and you will not forever be disfigured...

I am a huge Bob Marley fan but I have never seen proof he said this. This saying can be found in the Temptations song Cloud Nine from 1969 before Bob became famous outside of Jamaica. So it is very unlikely someone actually has it documented that Bob said it before the Temptations song came out. Most likely it was just miscredited to Bob. If you want the tattoo I would suggest you don't include Bob's name on it. It is a good quote but unlikely to be Bob's original one.
